Finding Her Voice: Ariane’s Story

Issue #1 | Chester Rising Monthly Impact Series

She almost quit. Then she found her stage. 🎭

Hey CAAT Family,

We want to tell you about a girl named Ariane.

When Ariane first walked through our doors, she was quiet. Shy. The kind of quiet that makes you wonder what’s going on inside. She didn’t say much — but she showed up.

And that was enough.

Today, Ariane is what we call a true CAAT Kid. She dances with Furaha Dance Company. She creates in Legacy Arts. She plays guitar in Keep Music Alive. She moves to the beat in Hip Hop with Purpose Performers. She communicates in Sign Language. She leads alongside her sisters in Girl Scouts Troop 5034. And every CAAT-Tastic Saturday? She’s there.

Ariane didn’t just find a program. She found her voice.

That’s what CAAT does. We don’t just offer activities — we create spaces where young people in Chester discover who they really are.

Because for every young person like Ariane, there are others still waiting for a place to belong, to be seen, and to be heard.

Your support makes stories like this possible.

Whether you give, volunteer, or simply share our mission, you are part of helping the next Ariane walk through our doors—and find their voice.
