At the CAAT Center, some partnerships begin with a project and grow into something much more meaningful.

We first met Lindsey while completing a mural project in partnership with Widener University in the downtown area. What started as a creative collaboration became the beginning of a deeper connection. Lindsey later spent a full semester working with the Chester Cultural Arts and Technology Center to earn credit for her Art History class, and during that time, she became part of the CAAT family.
Throughout the semester, Lindsey showed up with kindness, curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn from the work happening in our community. She did not just observe the arts; she experienced how art lives inside community spaces, how it tells stories, preserves history, and helps young people see themselves in powerful ways.
Her time with CAAT reminded us why partnerships with students and universities matter. When classroom learning connects with real community work, everyone grows. Lindsey brought her own gifts into the space, and in return, she became part of the story we are continuing to build through culture, art, and community.
As Lindsey prepares to graduate, we want to say thank you. Thank you for choosing CAAT as part of your academic journey. Thank you for showing up with an open heart, for honoring the work, and for being part of our creative community.
Congratulations, Lindsey. CAAT is proud of you, grateful for you, and cheering you on as you step into your next chapter.
