On March 28th, the Chester Cultural Arts and Technology Center proudly hosted the Delaware County Planning Department for an informative and impactful event focused on the Air Quality Monitoring Project. This initiative provided Chester residents with valuable insight into the current state of air quality within the city, how air data is collected, and how this information can support future government assistance and environmental improvements.
A highlight of the event was the participation of the Chester CAATastic Kids, who were actively engaged in learning about air quality in the very communities where they live. Their curiosity and enthusiasm were evident as they asked thoughtful and impressive questions, demonstrating a strong interest in environmental awareness and community health.
Overall, the event was both educational and empowering, equipping residents—young and old—with knowledge that can help drive positive change in Chester’s air quality and overall well-being.
