Last weekend’s CAAT-Tastic Saturday was truly amazing. Our students enjoyed a powerful day of learning, creativity, and engagement that reflected the heart of what CAAT is all about.
We were excited to have Brittani Hales lead story time, creating a warm and interactive literacy experience for our young people. Her presence helped make reading feel exciting, meaningful, and fun.
We were also grateful to welcome Widener University, who led a hands-on STEM activity with the students. During the session, participants took part in an egg drop challenge, where they explored problem-solving, creativity, and basic engineering concepts as they worked to design ways to protect their eggs from breaking.
The day was filled with energy, teamwork, and joyful learning. Moments like these remind us how important it is to provide young people with opportunities that blend literacy, STEM, and enrichment in ways that are both educational and memorable.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this CAAT-Tastic Saturday such a success. We are proud of our students, grateful for our partners, and excited for all that is still to come.
