Furaha Dance Company Fashion Show Performance

On March 8, 2026, the CAAT Center’s Furaha Dance Company had the honor of performing at the African American Museum in Philadelphia as part of an amazing fashion show featuring children modeling their favorite person in American Black history. The event was a powerful celebration of culture, creativity, and the legacy of Black excellence.

Adding to the occasion's significance, Furaha Dance Company also had the opportunity to lead the procession alongside Phonk Philly, helping set the tone for an energetic and inspiring program. Their presence and performance brought excitement, pride, and artistry to a day centered on honoring the stories and contributions of influential Black historical figures.

The event beautifully blended history, fashion, music, and youth expression, creating a memorable experience for all in attendance. The CAAT Center is proud of Furaha Dance Company for representing the organization with joy, excellence, and purpose, and grateful to have been included in such a meaningful celebration at the African American Museum in Philadelphia.
